March 13 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Now at the

California Speech Language Hearing Association

3:30 -5 p.m.

3/13/2021, Saturday

Workshop #0512_0735_000061

CEU’s available.

Our students, learners of English, SLI, and struggling writers, often feel unable or less valued by peers and adults.

Writing to persuade others is empowering.

Students must also write to prove learning (Nippold, 2005).

Discover the issues, both neuro-linguistic and behavioral that cause student writers to struggle.

Learn research based techniques piloted in a small ‘n’ study in Barstow, California that

  • led to more effective essay writing,
  • increased student confidence and classroom participation, and
  • built on students’ existing neuro-linguistic skills.

Attendees receive a free program form for an activity to improve students’  abilities to create theses sentences
